NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE INTRODUCES THE SELL AND SAIL AMERICA TIC-TAC-TOE'
PROMOTION
NCL Offers New Travel Agent Incentive
to Support Homeland Cruising Program
MIAMI, January 21, 2002- Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has
developed a travel agent incentive tic-tac-toe game to support
the company's new Homeland Cruising program, which has regularly
scheduled round-trip seven-day cruises from more US and Canadian
ports than any other cruise line. Agents can win fun NCL logo
prizes, $500 and be entered into a contest to win the grand
prize of a complimentary cruise for two on the brand new Norwegian
Star in one of the largest suites afloat -- the magnificent
Garden Villas.
The game card looks similar to a tic-tac-toe board and agents
win prizes by selling the cruises in each square. Agents who
sell enough cruises to fill in any one row down, across or
diagonally, just like tic-tac-toe, receive an NCL beach bag
and towel. Agents who can fill in any two rows down, across
or diagonally receive an NCL logo jacket. Agents who fill
in the full card receive an NCL logo bathrobe and entry to
win one of 10 $500 cash prizes. All agents awarded prizes
will also be entered into a grand prize drawing for a one-week
cruise in Hawaii onboard Norwegian Star in one of the 5,300
square foot Garden Villas. Sailings must be booked and deposited
by March 31, 2002 and voyages must be taken by December 31,
2002.
"The Sell and Sail America Tic-Tac-Toe promotion provides
a fun and rewarding way for agents to sell cruises while learning
about our new Homeland Cruising program, which has become
the cornerstone for our 2002 fleet deployment," said
Andy Stuart, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
The cash prizes and Garden Villa drawings will be held the
first week of January 2003. Each travel agent is limited to
five claimed prizes for each type of reward. Travel agencies
are limited to 50 claimed prizes for each type of reward.
NCL's new Homeland Cruising program offers passengers regularly-scheduled,

Rico; Boston, Mass.; New York, N.Y; and Honolulu, Oahu and
