NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE NAMES DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS

MIAMI, FL - Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has named Susan Robison as director of public relations. In her new position, Robison is responsible for all public relations activities, including media and community relations, product launches, ship inaugurals, and crisis communications.

Robison will report directly to Andy Stuart, NCL's senior vice president of marketing and sales. "Susan's impressive public relations background coupled with her knowledge of the travel industry makes her the right person to represent NCL," Stuart said.

Prior to joining NCL, Robison was vice president of the consumer group at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, Miami, where she assisted in the opening of the office in 1998. In addition to Edelman, Robison has held positions in Maizner & Franklin, Inc., a boutique travel public relations agency and the Brighton Agency in St. Louis. She has represented a variety of companies throughout her public relations career, including the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Eckerd Corporation, The Miami HEAT and the opening of the AmericanAirlines Arena, Continental Airlines Vacations, Marco Island and the Everglades CVB, Double Tree Hotels & Resorts/Florida, Marriott's Beach Place Towers, Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, and The Moorings, the word's largest yacht charter company.

A graduate of University of Central Florida, Robison holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Journalism, and has received several HSMAI and Women in Communications awards for her work in the industry.
