NCL GROUP NAMES MICHAEL ZENGERLE GENERAL
MANAGER OF CONTINENTAL EUROPE
MIAMI, FL - The NCL Group has named Michael Zengerle as
general manager of sales and marketing of Continental Europe
for Norwegian Cruise Line and Orient Lines. In his new position,
Zengerle will be responsible for marketing and sales, in the
group's three Continental Europe offices in Germany, Norway
and Switzerland.
Zengerle will report directly to Andy Stuart, senior vice
president of marketing and sales for the NCL Group. "Michael's
impressive sales and marketing background coupled with his
travel industry experience make him the perfect candidate
for this position," Stuart said. "He will help expand
our market share in Europe and be the liaison between our
offices in the United States and the European operations."
Prior to joining NCL, Zengerle served as the managing director
for Euvia Travel, where he was responsible for the management
and business development of the newly launched TV Travel Shopping
Channel in Germany.
Before that, Zengerle spent more than10 years with Lufthansa
Passenger Airline, in a variety of senior positions including
general manager of direct sales and marketing in North America.
Zengerle holds a Masters of Business Administration degree
from Munich University.
