NORWEGIAN SUN AND NORWEGIAN SEA TO SAIL FROM BOSTON INSTEAD OF NEW YORK

Miami – September 17, 2001 – As a result of the tragic events last week and the closing of the Port of New York, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) today announced it will move the deployment port for Norwegian Sun from New York to Boston and operate Norwegian Sea between Boston and Montreal instead of New York and Montreal for the forthcoming Canada/New England Season.

Norwegian Sea sailing dates affected include September 23 and 30, 2001 and October 7 and 14, 2001. The ship is still scheduled to make its 15-day Colonial America voyage from Montreal, Canada to Miami on October 21, where it will sail its scheduled Caribbean itinerary through April 2002.

Norwegian Sun’s transatlantic voyage from Southampton, England, which was scheduled to end in New York, will now conclude in Boston on Sept. 26. In addition, the ship will now sail its series of three, 12-day Canada/New England itineraries from Boston September 28, October 10 and October 22, 2001. On November 3, Norwegian Sun will sail a repositioning cruise from Boston to Miami, where it will begin its scheduled exotic Western Caribbean itinerary.

NCL has sent notification of this change to travel agents and is working closely with travel agents and airlines to minimize disruption and inconvenience for passengers.

Agents and passengers affected by this itinerary change can contact NCL for more information by calling (800) 625-5672.
