Sex and the City Star Kim Catrall to Christen New Ship in New York City

Miami, December 13, 2002 - Travel Agents and consumers nationwide will have the rare and fun opportunity to get an insider's view of Norwegian Dawn's christening ceremony during a live Web cast on Monday, December 16.

Those who log onto NCL's website, www.ncl.com beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST can see one of New York's sexiest women christen the city's newest leading lady. Kim Cattrall of HBO's hit series Sex and the City! will serve as Godmother of Norwegian Dawn, NCL's newest Freestyle Cruising ship, set to call New York home. She will christen Norwegian Dawn in a ceremony aboard the ship in New York.

Web users will need to have access to the latest version of RealPlayer on their computer in order to link to the ceremony. RealPlayer may be downloaded free in advance through RealNetworks at www.real.com/player.

Kim Cattrall is a Golden Globe® and Emmy® -nominated actress who has received worldwide critical acclaim for her portrayal of femme fatale Samantha Jones on Sex and the City.

The actresses' diverse career has spanned film, stage and television. Cattrall starred opposite Jack Lemmon in his Academy Award nominated performance in "Tribute" and she received a Lead Actress Genie nomination (Canadian Oscars) for her performance in "Ticket to Heaven."

She also starred in a host of blockbuster films, including "Police Academy 1," "Porky's," "Mannequin," "Masquerade," "Star Trek 6: the Undiscovered Country," John Carpenter's "Big Trouble in Little China," and with Tom Hanks in Brian De Palma's "Bonfire of the Vanities."

In addition, Cattrall and her husband, Mark Levinson, recently co-authored the best selling book, Satisfaction currently on sale at bookstores nationwide.

The 92,250-ton Norwegian Dawn is NCL's third ship purpose-built for the groundbreaking Freestyle Cruising concept, which has taken the travel industry by storm.

NCL will roll out the red carpet for Norwegian Dawn's inaugural festivities in New York and Miami before the ship begins her regularly scheduled sailings to the Eastern Caribbean from the port of Miami on December 21, 2002.

From Miami, Norwegian Dawn will sail on an Eastern and Western Caribbean itinerary through May 3, 2003. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary calls at San Juan, Puerto Rico; St. Thomas, USVI; Tortola, BVI and Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. The Western Caribbean itinerary calls at either Montego Bay or Ocho Rios, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.

The ship begins her summer season from New York on May 18, 2003 with an unprecedented series of seven-day sailings to the Bahamas and Florida. Ports of call on this innovative itinerary include Nassau, Great Stirrup Cay, Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, and guests have the additional option of embarking in Port Canaveral (Orlando) as well.

Norwegian Dawn will feature several groundbreaking aspects including one of the industry's largest multi-million dollar art collections featuring four original works by 19th and 20th Century masters Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Matisse, Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet in its signature Le Bistro restaurant. Elsewhere on the ship, guests will enjoy a collection of signed original prints by Andy Warhol.
