the release of her first album, Lee Ann Womack, this Texas-born
singer has been the center of both fan and industry excitement.
She has won the American Music Award for "Favorite New
Country Artist," the Academy of Country Music trophy

debut album, A Thousand Memories, Akins was named one of Country
America magazines "Top New Stars in 1995."
During that year he had two singles which became Top Ten hits,

his proudest recent achievements was being asked to serve

Girls Clubs of America.
Rick Trevino-- Drawing on his roots as an
Hispanic American, Trevino has become the first country artist
in decades to build a significant multi-ethnic following.

and Alan Jackson.
