Norwegian Cruise Line Announces New "Cruise Plus Land"
For Norwegian Majestys Bermuda Program
MIAMI, Fla. May 11, 1999-- Norwegian Cruise Line has announced
a new program which allows guests to select from a series
of new cruise and land options in conjunction with the M/S
Norwegian Majestys weekly cruises from Boston to Bermuda.
Under this "Cruise Plus Land" program, Norwegian
Majesty guests now have three different cruise and land vacation
options:
"With this program, we expect to attract vacationers
who want a shorter getaway vacation of five days," said
Michael Pawlus, NCLs Vice President of Strategic Planning.
"We also feel we will attract guests who are interesting
in taking a cruise but want to try out the concept with a
two-day cruise commitment rather than a full week."
This "Cruise Plus Land" program is being sold and
marketed exclusively by National Leisure Group (NLG) in Boston.
"Since launching this program, we have had a great initial
response," said David Crooks, Director of Product Development
for NLG. "We are pleased to be partnering with NCL on
this program to offer a new vacation concept to Bermuda."
NLG will be using the Grotto Bay Beach Resort and Marriotts
Castle Harbour resort in Bermuda for this program.
The recently lengthened, 1,462-guest Norwegian Majesty sails
roundtrip from Boston to St. Georges, Bermuda, every
Sunday through October 17, 1999.
For more information about NCLs Bermuda cruise and
land vacations, contact NLG at 617-424-7990. Pricing for the
five- and seven-night packages start at $689 per person, based
on double occupancy.
