On-Shore Options Galore
Miami, FL, November 24, 1999 -- Norwegian Cruise
Line announced today that the Eastern Caribbean itinerary
of the new M/S Norwegian Sky has been enhanced and will now
include Nassau, Bahamas, beginning with the November 28, 1999,
voyage. Replacing Eleuthera, Nassau offers a wider variety
of on-shore options for guests sailing aboard the Norwegian
Sky and will enhance the overall cruise experience.
Norwegian Sky offers seven-day alternating Eastern
and Western Caribbean itineraries throughout the winter. Departing
every other Sunday from Miami, the new Eastern Caribbean schedule
will include port calls at Nassau, San Juan, St. Thomas and
Great Stirrup Cay, NCLs private island in the Bahamas.
The Western Caribbean itinerary includes port calls at Grand
Cayman, Ocho Rios, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay.
"We believe Norwegian Skys itinerary
enhancement will satisfy guest demand for exciting ports of
call with a wide variety of activities and sights," commented
Art Sbarsky, executive vice president of NCL. "This change
represents NCLs commitment to providing the best possible
choice of destinations for our guests."
