Norwegian Cruise Line To Spread The Aloha
Spirit To Seven Western States With Hawaii Seminars For Agents
Miami - August 11 - Break out your favorite
Aloha shirt! Beginning this month, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)
will offer travel agents in the western region a series of
seminars focusing on NCL's groundbreaking Hawaii deployment
and NCL America, the cruise industry's only U.S.-flag brand.
And, to get agents into the "Aloha" spirit - the
happy, positive attitude that defines Hawaii's culture - the
seminars will feature Hawaii-themed events and specialties,
from Hawaiian food and hula lessons to an agent contest for
the best Aloha shirt and a chance to win a free seven-day
NCL cruise.
The two-hour seminars will provide an invaluable
look into Hawaii's rich culture and offer keys to selling
NCL America in Hawaii, from Norwegian Wind's 10- and 11-day
cruises to Pride of America and Pride of Aloha's three-, four-
and seven-day itineraries. Agents will also learn about NCL
America's flexible "Cruise & Stay" land packages
and tax deductibility for meetings held aboard NCL America
ships. Finally, officials will discuss NCL's new Mexican Riviera
cruises aboard Norwegian Star, which debut Sept. 26, 2004.
NCL's western seminars are designed for agency
owners and managers; frontline, outside and home-based agents
and corporate and incentive travel and meetings planners.
Offered with breakfast, lunch or dinner, the presentations
will be held in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon,
Utah and Washington from Aug. 25 through Sept. 15, 2003 (please
see attached schedule). Featured hosts will include Andy Stuart,
NCL's senior vice president, marketing and sales and Mitchell
Schlesinger, vice president, North American sales.
Agents can RSVP for a seminar on NCL's website
at www.ncl.com/celebratehawaii,
or call NCL sales at 800-327-7030. Seminars in the central,
northeast and southeast regions will be announced later this
year. For further information on NCL America, agents in the
